Following a security incident last week, we changed the way AWS credentials are provided inside lab environments. The change was necessary and is now live across all AWS Academy courses.
Unfortunately, it broke grading on a number of labs between 30 September and 5 October. If you submitted a lab in that period and received a zero or a failing grade that doesn't reflect your work, this is why.
The problem is now fixed. To receive a correct grade you will need to re-run the lab and submit it again. If your lab session has already ended, you'll need to start it fresh, as the original environment is no longer available.
For instructors: affected submissions cannot be recovered and will need to be resubmitted by the student. It would be appreciated if you can please allow for this in any deadlines that fell in that window.
We're sorry for the disruption and for the extra work this creates.
