Often Vocareum workspaces are created on shared underlying virtual machines using either unix account or containers for isolation. But for certain "labs", dedicated resources are created for students to work on and for assessment. You can ask for dedicated resources in the following cases -

- Spark clusters

- GPU

- Windows desktop

- Cloud credentials

- Custom cloud infrastructure

Platform will start the resources either automatically when the learner initiates the lab or a grading job is launched. Similarly resources will be either shut down manually by learner by selecting "End Lab" or automatically when the platform detects that the resources are no longer needed.
