Organization admins can set up SSO via SAML 2.0 for their organization. This can be done from the Edit Org page.

Here, we will explain the fields required to configure SAML 2.0 in Vocareum.

Entity ID:

You should obtain this value from your idP. Typically, your idP's entity ID is either a link to your idP's metadata or an organization-specific URL.

Single Sign on (SSO) URL:

This value should also be obtained from your idP. It is the external link used to access the specific application integration your setting up. This is needed for SP-initiated SSO.

SSO Logout URL:

This value is only required if you want to set up SP-initiated single sign-out (where logging out of Vocareum will log you out of your idP as well).

x509 Certificate:

You must paste your idP's x509 Certificate here.

SP Metadata:

This link contains org-specific metadata for your SAML configuration. It can be entered into your idP if an SP Entity ID or metadata link is required.

SSO / Audience URI:

This link serves as both the SSO URL and Audience URI required by your idP.

Learners also use SAML:

Typically, SAML authentication is limited to privileged users such as teachers and organization administrators. If this option is turned on, students will also be able to access our platform via your idP.
